Music For My Ears

“ Music For My Ears”

M.U.S.I.C., a five letter word that frees every soul of all the burdens and make people enliven every moment be it joyous or sorrow or love or heartbreak. Do you think only humans, the self-proclaimed superior-most race enjoy and feel music? Music is the heart and soul of the animal world. Music is the tune to which trees sway. Music lies in the bosom of the waves gushing through its banks, music lies in the free flowing breeze that whispers into your ears. Humans have attached an entirely different tail to Music, helping it shape cultures and minds of creative people. It is an art, a culture propagating through sound and silence. Brainy heads found never ending lists of instruments through which we could play and enjoy music.

A brief history..

Music is taken from Greek language; it means “art of the Muses”. Ancient Greeks as well as Indian philosophers explained music as tones arranged horizontally as melodies while arranged vertically as harmonies. Music is classified into genres, like country music, which are further classified into subgenres like pop country music or country blues. The line differentiating different music genres is very subtle sometimes coming down to personal interpretation.
